As the Coronavirus Pandemic is now becoming very serious in the UK, we have made the decision to shut both our Hair and Beauty Salons from Tuesday 24th March.
This is to protect both staff and clients and is in line with government advice. We hope you will understand and agree with this decision.
We hope that all our staff, clients plus their families and friends stay safe during this difficult period and look forward to seeing you all in the not too distant future.
Update (May 2020)
As at 5th May we still do not know when the government will allow us to re-open. As soon as we have a date we will open the appointments diary. We will work extended hours for the first month or so to ensure that we can accommodate all our hair and beauty clients as soon as possible after re-opening.
Update (June 2020)
We know that you are all getting anxious to have your hair cut, or coloured and styled. We cannot wait to start looking after you again. However the government will not allow us to open until July 4th at the earliest. We are working towards that date and getting the salons and PPE ready for a flying start.
Most of you will know that we were planning to open a new beauty suite on the first floor of golds hair and to close the beauty salon opposite hair on Gammon Walk. The new beauty suite will open on the day we re-open as planned but we are now retaining the old beauty salon as an overflow hair salon. We will have 6 stylist stations in this salon and 6 in the current hair salon. This will enable us to comply with social distancing requirements and provide a full and safe service. We will also have a full range of PPE.
When the opening date of July 4th is confirmed we propose to open our booking system to take and make appointments. This will be in mid-June. We will let everyone know when, by emails, texts, facebook, instagram, and this website.
Obviously we cannot give everyone an appointment in the first few days so we will have to accept appointments on a first come first served basis. We will however be working extra days and longer hours to ensure that all our clients are accommodated as soon as possible.
